Class Announcements Math Club on 4/6There will be no Math Club on Tuesday, April 6. Math club will resume as usual on April 13. Thank you!
Reading ProjectYour child was given a sheet at the beginning of the quarter, on 2/4, describing their first big reading project for the year. A copy of this sheet is posted under class files. It is very important that your child take this project very seriously, and follow the rubric that is provided. I am very excited to see the creative projects they will create! This project is aimed at getting your child excited about reading, and is a more creative and engaging alternative to the book reports we grew up with. Please make sure that the book your child chooses fits in to one of the four genres listed: fantasy, historical fiction, biography, and non-fiction. If you have any questions as to whether a particular book is appropriate please to not hesitate to contact me. Happy reading!
Successnet and RAZ kidsIn the event that your child needs to miss school due to an illness or reasons, please have them use the following websites in an effort to allow them to keep up with the work being done inside the classroom. On the links portion of this page you can access Study Island (for math and language arts), RAZ-Kids (for reading), and Pearson's Successnet (for math). Your child's ability level has been set for Study Island and RAZ-Kids. Please only have them complete work that is on their level and pertinent to what we are studying in class. Thank you! =)
